Monday or Wednesday - Men's Open League

All games will be played under the FIFA “Laws of the Game” in addition to those rules adopted by the J.C.A.S.L. as stated.

Teams are required to have at least 16 players on their roster. If at 14 days prior to season start teams are not at 16, league reserves the right to add players or combine teams to complete rosters.

With the permission of the center referee, unlimited substitutions may be made from the centerline at any stoppage of play.

Each game will consist of 2 x 45 min halves unless weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevent. In the event that a game is called the following rules for J.C.A.S.L. will be used, A game stopped during the first half will be made up completely, a game stopped during half time will play the second half, and a game stopped during the second half is a complete game. J.C.A.S.L. reserves the right to change the length of the games based on circumstances or delays encountered.

Weather info will be posted via mobile message, email and the web site. The league will use the O.P Soccer complex weather cancellation rules,(i.e.. rain alone does not cancel games).

Game's will be rescheduled for either Friday or Sunday nights depending on field availability to the league.

Players are required to bring an ID that will be checked against the teams roster by the referee.

A red card will be either a 1 or 2 game suspension depending on the infraction. A second red card in a season results in expulsion from the league.

Visiting team is required to change jerseys if needed.

Standings are determined by total points. In the case of a tie then head to head results will be used. If still tied then record against next place team etc, then total goal differential, and if still tied then a coin toss by the league administrators.

Following the completion of one season of play, a promotion/relegation of teams will take place. The top team will move up one division. The lowest finishing team will move down one division. The league reserves the right to place teams in any division.

Failure to have a minimum of seven (7) players at the field at game time will be considered a forfeit and the game will not be rescheduled.
